In partnership with Chopped Canada Champion Chef Melanie Robinson and the Eclectic Cafe, The Roost Farm is thrilled to be hosting our annual Farm To Table Dinner this coming September 24, 2022.
Guests are guaranteed a culinary experience you won't soon forget as Chef Mel and her team tantalize your taste buds with a "Picnic on the Farm" themed menu that will leave you in awe of the abundance of local, fresh, sustainable ingredients grown and produced right here on The Roost Farm.

A Country Picnic Inspiration
Course 1 - Roaming Hors d'oeuvres
Enjoy some time to socialize and explore the farm as we serve pumpkin soup shooters, pink pickled deviled eggs, ratatouille tarts with parmesan thyme cream and herbs, and stars from the garden.
Course 2 - Farm Fresh Carbonara
A sit down course of freshly made egg fettuccine with a traditional Italian carbonara sauce of fresh egg yolk, parmesan cheese, smoked Roost Farm side pork and freshly ground pepper.
Course 3 - The Picnic Plate
Lamb slider topped with mint raisin chutney and sheep feta on a brioche bun; Roost Farm fried chicken, farm pickles and spicy Roost Farm honey; side salad starring Japanese Wasabi Radish, bitter melon and other highlights of the Roost garden.
Coursee 4 - A Sweet Finish
Finish your meal with a smooth homemade ice cream made with a reserve batch of Roost Farm whiskey barrel aged maple syrup, resting between two homemade shortbread cookies to make the most unforgettable ice cream sandwich there has ever been.
